The Appleby Dry Lining Boxes 2 Gang 47 mm is a double-gang plastic dry lining back box used for mounting two switches or sockets flush into plasterboard or cavity walls. It’s made from flame-retardant thermoplastic with tough yellow adjustable nylon lugs that grip the board securely so the box doesn’t slip into the cavity. The box has a 47 mm internal depth to give extra room for wiring and connections, features two side cable entry knockouts plus a 25 mm base knockout, and includes a large front flange that aligns with the faceplate for a neat finish. It’s suitable for standard plasterboard thicknesses around 6.35–15 mm.
