The Appleby Dry Lining Box 1 Gang 35 mm is a single-gang electrical back box designed for use in dry lining/plasterboard walls. It’s made from flame-retardant thermoplastic and has an internal depth of 35 mm, which gives just enough space for wiring behind a switch or socket in shallow wall cavities. It features tough adjustable nylon lugs that clamp into the board so it doesn’t slip back into the hole, a large front flange that matches the faceplate profile, and knockouts (two side and one base) for easy cable entry. It’s ideal for flush mounting accessories in partition walls with board thicknesses around 6.35–15 mm.
