The Appleby Dry Lining Boxes 2 Gang + 1 Gang is a single dry lining back-box unit moulded from flame-retardant thermoplastic that combines space for one 1-gang accessory and one 2-gang accessory in one piece — ideal when you need to fit a single switch/socket and a double next to it in a plasterboard/cavity wall without using separate boxes. It has tough adjustable yellow nylon lugs that grip plasterboard (typically 6.35 – 15 mm thick) so the box stays secure, plus multiple knockouts (side and base) for easy cable entry and an internal depth of about 35 mm for wiring space. A large front flange helps align neatly with faceplates and prevent the box slipping back into the wall.
